Adult guests with a host at a casino-themed entertainment table
Adult guests sharing a conversation at a hosted entertainment table

A table to gather around.

The host welcomes a small group, explains the format and leads the first round. Guests have something to do together from the start, with time to ask questions and talk between turns.

That rhythm is useful when colleagues from different departments are meeting, when a private party brings together several circles of friends, or when a dinner needs an activity afterwards. You can choose open table sessions, timed rotations or a shorter hosted introduction.

Our role is to plan the format and the room together. We agree the table mix, hosting, styling and running order around your guest numbers, available space and the rest of the occasion.

Choose how the tables fit.

The most useful starting question is whether table entertainment will be the main event or one part of it. That choice changes the table count, hosting and timing.

The focus of the evening

For a dedicated casino-themed function, we build the arrival and introduction around the tables. A host can explain the format to the whole group before guests move into smaller sessions. Planned changes give people an opportunity to try a different table or spend time with another group.

Blackjack-style activities offer quick individual turns. Roulette-style table entertainment works around a shared focal point. A poker-themed dinner can use a more settled table arrangement, with the pace and explanations planned for your audience.

Part of a wider programme

At a gala or company celebration, the tables can open after the formal part of the evening. Guests can move between entertainment, conversation and any other agreed activity. We coordinate the start with food service and speeches so neither has to compete for attention.

At a reception, a smaller table area can give early arrivals somewhere to gather. We leave enough space for people who prefer to watch and a route through the room for guests and venue staff.

The people and equipment behind it.

Your proposal describes the table setups and staffing for your event. Equipment-only hire is not assumed: the event scope is built around the hosting and production you need.

  • Table hostsCroupier-style hosts explain each activity, guide turns and help people join a group. The staffing plan matches the number of tables operating at the same time.
  • Prepared table setupsThe agreed table formats, cards and table equipment are brought into the room layout. We confirm dimensions, access and any supporting furniture before booking.
  • Event coordinationThe agreed coordinator or lead host works from the running order and connects table opening, announcements, breaks and the close. Larger production roles are named separately.
  • Theme and stylingLas Vegas or Monte Carlo styling can use draped fabric, warm lighting, an entrance feature and a consistent colour palette. Select a few focal elements or a more extensive room treatment.

Plan around the room.

Up to 80 guests does not mean 80 people at the tables at once. We shape the layout and programme around participation, circulation and the time available.

Before the date is confirmed

Share a room plan or photographs if you have them. We check the activity area, doorways, lift access, load-in route, power requirements and where equipment can be stored before and after the event. An upstairs room or a tight delivery window can change the logistics.

We also ask where dinner, speeches and other activities will happen. A table placed close to a stage can be distracting during an announcement, while a remote side room may separate guests from the occasion. These decisions belong in the plan.

During the programme

The event can run for up to seven hours, but the hosted table session may be much shorter. A three-hour dinner-and-entertainment programme and a seven-hour celebration need different breaks, personnel and room arrangements.

Tell us if anyone needs seated participation, more time to follow an explanation or a quieter place to take a break. We can discuss practical adjustments with you and the venue before confirming the table arrangement.

Make the setting your own.

The theme should support the occasion. We agree the visual details, then keep the space usable for the people in it.

For a company function, branded welcome signage and a backdrop can connect the evening to the business without covering every surface. For a private celebration, a date, name or chosen colour can appear in selected details. We review artwork, dimensions and production deadlines before committing to printed or custom items.

If you are pairing tables with dinner, we can align table styling and the entertainment area. If you want a more theatrical opening, discuss a red-carpet entrance, a photo setting or a host introduction. Extra performers, photography, sound and larger installations are included only when specified in the proposal.

Questions about the evening.

Do guests need to know the table formats?

No. Hosts explain the activities and guide the first turns. Let us know whether your group is new to the format so we can allow enough time for introductions and keep the pace appropriate.

Can we choose a particular combination of tables?

Tell us your preferences in the enquiry. We’ll review the combination against availability, floor space and how many people you want participating together. The confirmed table list appears in your proposal.

What do we need to provide?

Start with the venue details, guest estimate, event timings and a contact for access. We will identify any furniture, power, room arrangements or supplier responsibilities that need to sit with you or the venue.

Can the tables open after dinner?

Yes. We can plan a table opening after the last course or formal announcements. Tell us whether equipment can remain in place throughout dinner or whether the room needs to be changed between activities.

Can we book this for a private party?

Yes. The programme can be shaped around a birthday, anniversary or private dinner. Our private events page covers guest introductions, room arrangements and ways to personalise the occasion.

Is setup included in the event duration?

The proposal distinguishes the guest programme from the access needed to install and remove equipment. Tell us the venue’s earliest access and latest collection times, including any restrictions on deliveries.

How do we get a tailored proposal?

Use the enquiry form to prepare an email with your date, venue and guest estimate. Mention the table formats and styling you are considering. Once your email reaches us, we can discuss availability and build a written scope.

Plan your table evening.

Tell us the occasion and whether you want the tables to be the main entertainment or part of a wider programme.

If the venue or date is still open, tell us what you have in mind. A guest estimate and a description of the evening are enough to start a conversation.
